Emily C Designs is a one woman show, founded in June 2020, and based in the South West. Started as a way to express my creativity while I was completing BA (Hons) English at the University of Plymouth, ECD has blossomed into a brand that can be summed up with dainty designs, pink packaging, and the love of good books. 

The majority of my products are sculpted from polymer clay to create beautiful, bookish creations. Even the tiniest pair of studs is sure to make a statement, allowing you to show of your favourite read, even in careers, at locations, or on ear lobes, that don't necessarily agree with chunky jewellery. I like to think they're rather unique, and they certainly make excellent gifts for bookworms. After all, who could say no to a pair of tiny books for your ear lobes?

Over the last few months, I've really honed in on my own style and brand, and sculpted ECD into something that I'm truly proud of. I've used the opportunity to make links to my degree, to improve my own art practices, and to make lifelong friends through both other business owners and customers! 💗

After running this business full time for the best part of 5 years(!!!), it's now taking a step back so I can pursue my love of literature in a different realm: publishing. Apparently running a business while doing an undergraduate degree wasn't enough, so I am now studying for a Masters in Publishing at the University of Exeter. 

I'm so lucky to call this my job and I can't wait to keep making more literature-inspired goodies. Thank you so much for being here, and being part of the community, and I hope you love my products as much as I've loved every second of making them.
