August Theme: Tropical Paradise

It's been a while since I've made some jewellery with super bold colours, and that's partially what has inspired this month's box! We're over pastels now (at least for a month), bring on the brights! 

The other inspiration for this box is my complete and utter lack of inspiration when it's come to summery themes. Oops. I ended up trawling back through my Pinterest boards from when I started this business 4(!!) years ago and looking at my inspo pins for different collections. Some of them were a bit dated (looking at you Bargello slabs), but there were some great ideas too! Cocktails, cottagecore, seaside and retro to name a few. But the one I settled on was tropical because the colour palettes were just so pretty! 

So, expect a lot of colour from this box, as well as an exciting little bonus treat! Keep reading if you'd like a written list of spoilers.

Daisy Tier: The smaller of the two boxes will include a pair of textured leaf earrings, inspired by the philodendron plant that is common under tropical canopies. It will also contain a pair of hoop earrings with clay beads in a summery tropical colour palette. Yep! That's another pair of earrings as an extra this month!

Peony Tier: The bigger box will feature all of the above, as well as a pair of earrings inspired by plumeria flowers. I've never made freehand flowers on a larger scale before (at least not ones that aren't squished onto a slab in the end!), so I'm very excited to try out something new.

PLUS: Occasionally, I like to put something else in the subscription boxes too! In the past, I've given out discount codes, prototype earrings, and bonus lucky dips. It's been a while, so a little summer bonus, every box will also contain an ECD Scratch Card!
